This is Kate. I spent a little over a month so far developing this character from Scratch. This is a Soft Body Dynamics test I created to understand how things work in 3ds Max. It was a lot of work figuring this out but I finally got everything to function like I want it to. This character has a Custom Rigs I developed for Body Control, Facial animation, and Soft Body dynamics. The Hair is being driven by 2 Cloth sims and a Flex sim with a deflector. The Soft Body of the boobs are driven by Spring Controllers, Cloth sim, Skin Wrap and Flex sim
I ain't gon lie, when I seen this I was like "aw man this foo didn't make this, it's some daz sim or somethin like that," and now I'm sittin here stuck on stupid that you did it from the ground up and hella mad that it came out so good. When you did the soft body on the breasts does it work like painting in influence like skin weights, or did you go about it so other way? I'm in maya and aint worked to much in Max but I think a lot of the terminology is the same right? It looks crucial tho 4real, much respect.
lmao, Thank you. I made my own technique for this. Seems to be one click to do everything in Maya. In 3ds Max doing the same thing seems more in depth and/or you have to find a work around. I used a cloth sim and a few modifiers to get the soft body dynamics to work.
Well the technique works. I want to try to adapt your cloth technique for a test animation if you don't mind. I wouldn't have thought of using cloth to to get the dynamic representation but it makes sense. It came out really nice.
Yea and this was just a Test for something else I made for a client that I just never posted online. It is an animation of two chicks rubbing their boobs against each other.
